Hi there   I am so sorry you are having a bad time right now.  May we ask what things you are going through?  My thoughts are that...medication will only do so much and we wouldn't want a medication which completely dulls emotions or even sadness.  Sometimes the sadness is grief over loss or an indication that something needs to change.  Imagine if we could no longer feel physical pain...we would no longer realize we had injured ourselves and would not seek help.    If your moods are disabling...in that they are affecting your ability to sleep, eat, or function in your day to day routine...then I would say perhaps it is time to ask your doctor about adjusting the dosage of your meds or else changing them.  There is no harm in consulting with your doctor.  A change in medication is something only you can decide.   I know it must be so hard.  Wish I could take your pain away.  But perhaps this is a signal that something needs to change...whether it be your meds or things in your life.   Hang in there....and thank you for your question.
