Hello, country,

Yes, anxiety attacks can do that. Please call your doctor and let him or her know that your medication isn't working. There are a lot of options for medications, so get your doctor to discuss your options with you and help you with this. OK?

Hope you feel better soon,

Teri

I have generalized anxiety also and hasd the same problem as you.  Woke up having anxiety and going to bed having anxiety.  I tried buspar years ago and it did not work for me.  I went on an anti-depressant and anti-anxiety meds.  After awhile I was able to go off the anti-anxiety med and just stay on the anti-depressant and it worked great.  I went off of it after a couple years because I thought I didn't need them anymore.  Recently my anxiety came back so I went back on my meds which has been helping.
