Q: My Dr. had prescribed 20 MG of Celexa for me. The pharmacy prescribed 60 MG on the pill bottle.

I took the pills as prescribed on the bottle. When I last saw my psychiatrist, he was appalled. What could have happened to me, and what are some of the symtoms of taking too much Celexa.

Check with your pharmacist. It could be that celexa only comes in 60mg incriments. Also you might want to ask your psychiatrist why he wasnt more clear with you about the situation. You are in his care and if you cant depend on him to be more clear and consice with you then you wont be comfortable being treated by him and you should seek a new professional.
