I have suffered from depression for a 15  years.  During this time, I had developed some urinary bladder problems especially pressure pain in the area.  Through many tests etc. and no findings. I have also been on many different anti-depressants.  I first noticed this bladder problem when I started Prozac.  Prozac worked great for my depression, however, I became pregnant and could no longer take it.  Once my baby was born I started it again, boom, the symptoms came back to life!  I thought that I might be on to something.  As time has gone on, I have had to be on many different kinds of anti depressants because I just haven't found the "right one".  Some hurt my bladder some do not.  I know right away within the first couple of days because I feel bladder urinary pain and pressure get checked for an infection and don't have an infection.  Paxil seemed to not hurt me but didn't help much with my depression.  Just TRY and have an open mind.  See a phsyciatrist "you are not crazy" but they can at least try many different kinds of meds.  If the doctor thinks you are nuts because this is a side effect you may have, get another one.  Good luck.  Depression is horrible, but I cannot stop believing that there will be a new upcoming med that will work perfectly!
