Q: should pregnant woman take lexapro?

I have not taken any anti-depressant meds in the last five months due to pregnancy. I am now prescribed to lexapro because of anxiety but I have five months pregnant. Is it still safe to take this even though i am pregnant?

Lindsey, here's what I found on Health Central regarding Lexapro and pregnancy.  Did you discuss your being pregnant with the doctor when he/she prescribed it?  You are wise to question its use, as this information advises against taking it when pregnant.  Please talk with your doctor if you haven't already; I hope you can find something else that will help.  Write in again any time.
