Hi Tabatha

I am very interested to know the answer to this question myself.  There has been an explosion of ads on the internet totally devoted to this berry.  And with this explosion of advertisement have come the scams.  Please be wary...I have heard many stories where people sign up for "free samples" and they are anything but free...they get you to have an on-going order of the stuff and then when you call there is nobody there to change things.  If you are going to try it...I would go to a health food store.

What is the reason you wish to try this supplement?

I would definitely ask your doctor about any interactions.  It is supposed to be a food product but there seem to be many different variations of acai berry products from pills to colon cleansers.  And I don't think there have been any studies done yet to see what interactions it has with other meds or supplements.

My last advice is to be careful.  Ask your doctor about this supplement.  Do not believe everything you hear on the internet.

I hope this helps some.  Thank you for your question.
