Hi JMG: Actually, there is information about Wellbutrin causing skin problems as a side effect. Allergic-type reactions are not unheard of.  Rashes, pruritus, urticaria (hives), angioedema, dyspnea, erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson Syndrome), and anaphylactic shock has been associated with bupropion. But, there may be other factors here that you haven't considered.
