Hi,
After a few months on Risperdal I developed this serious side effect - extreme difficulty swallowing. I've been off it for about 3 days now, and I'm still having problems. Has anyone else ever experienced this? How long does it take for the side effect to stop???

Hi Mara,
You should be checking with your doctor about this and any other symptom/side effect that bothers you. It is very important that you let your doctor know about things when you take meds like this. It could be something as simple as switching you to a different medication.
