Q: Can low seretonin cause nausea?

My 9yr ol daughter has suffered from nausea for the last 2 yrs. She has GERD. Her gallbladder is working at 50% capacity, has brown spots under her armpits. Seratonin is low. She is moping around.Gastro diagnosed with IBS, but I think there is something else. What can be causing her nausea? What other advise can you offer? Thank you so much.
