Young adults who suffer from depression are more prone to begin using substances such as alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs, a new report shows. Experts say the report from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration clearly reveals that young people often turn to cigarettes and other substances to try to deal with depression, creating a double-jeopardy for their health.
