Researchers have found that acupuncture may help ease depression during pregnancy. In a new study, pregnant women who were treated with depression-specific acupuncture showed a 63 percent response rate to the procedure, compared to a 44 percent response rate in women treated with other kinds of acupuncture or with massage. Experts say that while this trial is promising, these results need to be seen in a larger study.
