New TMS therapy improves depression symptoms in study

Researchers say that a new transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy is effective at treating depression symptoms. In a recent study, researchers treated depression patients who hadn't responded well to antidepressants with either NeuroStar TMS Therapy or a placebo. Patients who were treated with the TMS therapy showed improved depression symptoms, function, and quality of life. Read more »
