Does Effexor Have A Generic?
Generic Effexor has begun shipment after receiving the Food and Drug Administration's final approval, drugmaker Teva Pharmaceuticals says. The release of the generic--venlafaxine hydrochloride--had been threatened by a lawsuit between Teva and Effexor maker Wyeth, but the drugmakers came to a settlement last year.
