Japanese researchers say that elderly people who drink several cups of green tea per day are less likely to suffer from depression. In the study, investigators found that elderly men and women who drink four or more cups of green tea per day were 44 percent less likely to have symptoms of depression than people who drank one cup or fewer. This finding was not seen in people who drank other types of tea.
