A new study of Canadian teenagers has found that regular exercise helps teens control their blood pressure, regardless of their weight. Researchers found that decreases in exercise among teens was linked to an increase in blood pressure. And though reduced exercise was also associated with weight gain, the weight gain alone was not enough to account for the blood pressure hikes, particularly in girls.
