Antidepressants may help pregnant women stop smoking

A new study suggests that treating pregnant, drug-dependent women with antidepressants may help them stop smoking. Researchers say that the drug--Wellbutrin--treats the depression that affects up to 75 percent of women who have a substance abuse problem. The study's authors say the results could offer hope to women who often have unhealthy pregnancies and neonatal outcomes. Read more »
