Diabetic children at higher risk of eating disorders

Diabetic children are more likely to have a problem with disordered eating than their healthy peers, and researchers want to know why. Experts say that the problem may be that diabetes treatment prescribes some measure of food restriction. But it may also be that fluctuating insulin levels lead to hunger, which can cause weight gain.
