Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) say pilots may now fly while taking antidepressants, a move that lifts the ban on the drugs. The FAA's ruling permits pilots to take one of four antidepressants: Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac, and Celexa. After the pilots have been taking the antidepressant for a year to successfully treat their depression, they may petition the FAA for permission to fly, officials say.
