Generic Venlafaxine Xr
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the first generic version of Effexor XR (venlafaxine hydrochloride) to treat major depressive disorder. The generic form of this medication will be available in 37.5 mg, 75 mg, and 150 mg strengths and will have the same safety warnings as Effexor XR.
