Researchers in Belgium are reporting that Lexapro significantly improves quality of life for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Scientists reviewed data from eight trials that included a total of 1140 patients with MDD and 1045 patients with GAD. The results showed that patients with both conditions showed improved quality of life after eight weeks of treatment with Lexapro.
