Drugmaker Johnson & Johnson has issued a recall for lots of the antipsychotic medication Risperdal and its generic equivalent risperidone because of a bad odor reported in some of the tablets. The odor may be due to a chemical preservative called TBA that is used to treat the wooden pallets on which the drugs are shipped.
