People who tested positive for depression in a recent study consumed 60 percent more chocolate than people who had lower test scores for depression. Researchers also found that people diagnosed with major depression consumed more than double the amount of chocolate than people who did not have major depression. But investigators say they cannot be sure if eating chocolate makes people depressed or if depressed people are more likely to eat chocolate.
