Suicidal thoughts, PTSD rising in Hurricane Katrina victims

More Hurricane Katrina victims are thinking seriously about suicide or showing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) than they were just after the hurricane, a new Harvard study suggests. Six months after the hurricane, three percent of Gulf Coast residents reported suicidal thoughts, and that figure has risen to eight percent.
