Taking Both Ssris And Tcas Together
Seniors who take selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Paxil, Prozac, and Zoloft are almost five times more likely to commit suicide during the first month of taking the drug than seniors taking other classes of antidepressants, a new Canadian study suggests. Most of the patients who committed suicide were not taking antidepressants at the time, however.
