When people are hospitalized for adverse drug interactions, anti-clotting drug Coumadin (warfarin) is often involved. At a meeting of the American College of Physicians, medical doctor Douglas S. Paauw described the many drugs and foods of which people on Coumadin therapy should be wary. These include garlic, ginger, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, antifungal medications, and acid-reflux drugs, among others.
