Treating Depression With Adderall

A survey in Great Britain has found that more than half of women in
that country have taken drugs, including one to treat
attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), to help them lose
weight. The ADHD drug Adderall can suppress appetite for nine
hours, but it can also cause depression and heart disorders. One
nutritional expert called the trend worrying, saying pills that
promise "quick fixes" for weight loss often carry cardiovascular
and other health risks.
