Study links violent cartoons with behavior problems

Two new studies link certain types of television programs with behavioral problems in children. Toddlers who watched violent TV content such as cartoons and football for an hour a day doubled their risk of developing attention issues within five years. In another study of preschoolers, similar TV programming was linked to aggression in boys--but not in girls--in their early grade-school years. Read more »
