Scientists working with mice say they've pinpointed a possible
cause for postpartum depression. According to the study, having
offspring causes proteins called GABA receptors to become
unregulated in the brain, and this may cause post-delivery mood
disorders ranging from "baby blues" to postpartum psychosis.
Researchers also found that giving mice with postpartum depression
