A discovery about the hallucinogenic drug LSD could lead to new
treatments for mental health conditions such as schizophrenia. U.S.
researchers have found a biochemical link between the 'acid trips'
triggered by LSD and psychotic delusions in the brain. They say
this link could be the key to new drugs to treat psychotic episodes
associated with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
