Only one on in every five suicide victims age 55 years and older had been taking antidepressants, a new Danish study reports. Researchers say this finding suggests that depression and other mood disorders are often missed in older adults. The study also showed that antidepressant use accounted for only 10 percent of the drop in suicide rates for all ages during the study period, suggesting that doctors shouldn't rely solely on depression medications when developing suicide prevention strategies...
