New research published in the Journal of Pediatrics has found that teens who are depressed and who have delinquents for friends are more likely to resort to violence than teens who do not have these characteristics. The scientists also found that playing violent video games or watching violent television programs did not appear to be linked to an increased risk of teens committing violent acts in real life.
