A new Canadian study suggests that the use of selective serotonin
reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Paxil, Zoloft, and Paxil during
pregnancy may be linked to premature birth, low birth weight, and
slightly increased risk of fetal death. Researchers caution that
these findings may be linked to the mother's depression and urge
women to talk to their doctors about potential risks.
