Half of Iraq Veterans with Migraines Also Have Depression

New research indicates a link between Migraines and mental health: studies find that soldiers returning from Iraq who suffer from Migraines are more than twice as likely to also experience symptoms of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety than soldiers who do not have Migraines. In addition, soldiers with both migraines and depression or PTSD symptoms tend to experience more frequent migraines. Researchers are still seeking explanations for the link.
