Depressed pregnant women suffer more severe flu: study

According to a new study, pregnant women who suffer from depression are more likely to experience severe flu symptoms than pregnant women who are not depressed. Scientists say their finding suggests that the immune systems of depressed pregnant women do not function properly, and this may trigger the more severe response to the flu virus.  Read full story >
