Depression may impact bone health

According to Israeli researchers, depression may harm the bones as well as the mind. A meta-analysis of 23 studies on 2,327 people found that people with depression have lower bone density and a higher level of bone-harming osteoclasts cells. Researchers also found that young women were more prone to this effect of depression than older women or men.  Read full story >
