Earlier Bedtimes May Prevent Depression in Teens

Results from a new study suggest that teenagers who go to bed earlier are less likely to suffer from depression or think about suicide. In the study, researchers found that teens whose bedtimes were before 10:00 p.m. were 24 percent less likely to experience depression and 20 percent less likely to have considered suicide than teens who went to bed at midnight or later.
