Even Treated Depression Costs Employers: Study

A new report from Thomas Reuters has found that depressed employees call in sick more often than non-depressed employees, even when they take antidepressants. Researchers say this could be because the employees' antidepressants fail to work or are not taken properly. The study's findings suggest that better depression treatments may help reduce these workplace issues and provide savings for employers in terms of lost productivity.  Read full story >
