    Hey Aaron,

The only way for you to continue taking these drugs and maintain normal blood sugars is to change your insulin doses. Also, if you are getting a lot bigger, your body probably needs more insulin, even though you're gaining muscle and not fat.

Do you use a pump? If so, think about trying the temp basal setting to increase the insulin you're given across the board before making permanent changes. If you're not consistently high, it could be helpful to make a chart of your blood sugars to find out which doses need to change.

I think Ginger knows more about prohormones than I do, so I'm sure she'll give you the low down on their effects on blood sugar.

    Welcome to Diabeteens :)

    Hey Alucas1

I am a blogger for diabeteens.com. I've competed several times in competitive bodybuilding and college-level sports, as well as being the trainer of record-setting powerlifter and Diabeteens.com spokesperson, GingerVieira.

Here is a link to essentially the same question that was asked a few months ago. Take a look and then definitely let me know if you have further questions. Prohormones and diabetes can be done, but it needs to be done properly and carefully.

Let me know if that link helps.

    Andrew
