YAYYYYY Ginger!

I think it's so cool that a diabetes-related company sponsored your trip! It sounds like this was a new environment and a whole different look at powerlifting. Do you want to move up to this level of lifting, or stay in VT?

It struck me that you kept your BG in check with testing frequently. I do that, too, when I'm at the gym. Sometimes it's just for my mental health/sanity, but I feel more confident and focused when I know my BG is safe.

Congratulations again, as corny as it sounds, you're a huge inspiration!
