Great job, Ginger! You and Dr. Cogen put together some very valuable information for teens who consider drinking casually. I definitely learned some new things and will keep them in mind for the future. I have always told people I don't/won't drink because of my diabetes, but now I actually have some concrete facts to back that up. Thanks!

 good information :) I sort of knew most of this already, but it's good to hear it from another source. my tactic is to just drink until I'm a bit "buzzed" then pretty much stop, and not get completely intoxicated, that way can remember to check my BG every so often. I also set alarms on my phone to remind me to do so.

 

in a unrelated matter, on the first page of the article, it says "your" where it really should say "you're".
