Im a 20 year old male bodybuilder and recently started a cycle of prohormones which are basically oral steroids that are legal. when ingested the are converted into steroid hormones by the liver. since i began my cycle about 2 weeks ago i had to increase my lantus dose by 15 units and the amount of humalog i inject for meals has doubled. my weight is 185 and my lantus dose is 50 units at night and i take 1 unit of humalog for every 5 grams of carbohydrates. is there anything i can do to change that ratio so that all i would need is about 1 unit per 20 grams of carbohydrates? and do anabolic steroids affect glucose metabolism?
