Bryan-not sure

By Bryanl Tuesday, September 09, 2008

Hi, I am 19 6'1 and weigh 130. I use to weigh 170, but i got kidney stones twice in 6 months and lost 40 pounds within 6 months. I work alot and sometimes crave alot of candy, and other days not. I've tried gaining weight but it seems impossible. Somedays I'm extremelly tired and others not so much. I Usually drink alot of caffeine free soda for my kidneys. On certain days I get a little bit of an attitude with people, I read the syptoms on your web-page, but I wasnt sure because usually at night time I get alot of energy and wasnt sure if that had something to do with diabetes or not. I would like to know if diabetes can cause kidney stones and energy at night time, thanks.

BRYAN  -- you need to call up your doctor ASAP and explain all of these symptoms to him. Determining whether or not you have diabetes is very simple with a blood and urine test. Waiting too long to find out can lead to serious consequences, and if it isn't diabetes, something else is going on your body that needs to be treated.

Go to the doctor, your family practice or the ER and explain this to them.
