I looove beauty products! I spend most of my money on lotions, creams, butters, whipped body butters, oils, gel-oils etc... I love it all!!!!!
My skin is seriously dry in the winter with some itchy bits, my fave products to use are Olay's body ribbon jojoba butter body wash, that stuff really heals and soothes instantly, I'm not kidding, you must try it, your skin will be silky smooth and soft, use it on youre feet too. After the shower I slather on Olay Quench moistirizer, nice soft scent, and even softer skin in the morning if applied at night.
I use alot of different products but those two are my faves.
As you know being a person with diabetes we have to be very careful and monitor our feet for sores and ulcers, I'm obsessed with my feet! Laugh if you want, I won't ever walk around the house in my bare feet..... EVER!! I know a person who is also diabetic who did and stepped on a tiny piece of glass, infection started and amputation soon followed, so I'm honestly scared(I'm always breaking dishes), so I wear pink fuzzy slippers around the house.
I clean my feet daily in the shower with soap and water, a couple times a week I'll exfoliate with a brown sugar body scrub, and smother my feet in pure shea butter from the health food store, usually the butter is rubbed onto my feet in the morning before socks as this helps the butter to be better absorbed and locks in moisture so feet are super soft! It is also rubbed into the cuticles, hands and feet.
The shea butter is rubbed in daily to keep my feet soft.
Toe nails are clipped, and polished weekly, I really love Cover Girl's 3 in 1 polish in rouge vamp, a dark burgundy or black cherry color depending on how many coats are applied.
I'd love to hear what all of you use, what are you're fave products, routine care, tips etc.
