I definately agree.  One of my best friends was diagnosed with diabetes when we are sixteen.  I had already had it for five years.  To tell the truth, in the beginning, it was a little wierd, because he wanted to talk about it a lot and I wasn't used to that.  But now, we talk about it all the time.  It is nice to have someone who understands a comment as simple as, "I'm dropping" or, "I have an air bubble!"  However, it also made me realize something really important- everyone is SO different in how they manage their diabetes, and what works for one person doesn't always work for another.
