Well.. I'm still keeping up with my exercise and managing my sugar levels, and
if i keep it up in december i'm getting an insulin pump how exciting :)
which will help me control my levels even more !
I'm going to the gym twice a week with a friend,
and i'm doing daily exercise which involves bike riding and walking
It also helps to just stay on your feet as much as you can
and do odd jobs around your house :)

Thanks for posting! The news about getting pump is so exciting. Have you picked out a color yet? Make sure it can match with most fo your clothing!
So have you had any trouble keeping your BG from dropping low while you're exercising?

I like a lot of bright colours haha, I wanna get a green case for mine because it's my favourite colour! I try to base my diet on a lot of low GI Food, that helps me sort of maintain my BG. But, when i do a workout i usually have a quick acting to help aid me. I've been told that A pump will help me stop dropping low overnight, because my exercise affects me after. but a light snack before bed helps too
Yes, a light snack before bed is a great idea. I've had trouble with lows in the middle of the night when my exercise amounts increase, too. Because I'm taking Lantus, I handled this by lowering my dosage bit, and when you have a pump your doctor can definitely help you set lower insulin basal rates, too.
Did you know that walking at a moderate (not "powerwalking") pace actually burns fat, too and it won't affect your blood sugar as much because when your heart rate is lower, you use fat for fuel instead of glucose from your blood and muscles (like when you're biking or running). So if you ever want to just go for a long walk, that's great for your body!
Yeah I'm on lantus now too, It's great it has helped quite a lot.
If i miss a snack before bed i usually wake up at about 3am shaking and sweating, i have to check my BG and then rush to the fridge and i freak out so i end up over eating its bad !
And wow, I never knew that.
I've been told that only when your heart rate increases you burn fat, but now i know that That can be a great help thanks :)
...you do burn some fat when your heart rate is increased, but you burn a whole lot of muscle and gluocose, too, because when your heart rate is high, you can't get as much oxygen to your fat cells to use as fuel!
Anyways, keep up the walking and the gym! It's great!
