Well Anna, I can relate to you! I'm a bit older than you, but had teen years much like yours with many athletic endeavors and my father was a pilot for TWA, so we jumped flights all the time to travel with him around the globe!
After 39 years with diabetes, I'm still running, hiking, snowshoeing, x/c skiing, camping and traveling! If anything, life with diabetes helps me keep fit to keeping going!
My husband is a Pikes Peak Marathoner finisher and has a 2:18 marathon PR. I love running on trails when I can get to them!
