i am in high school, and when i have to do my blood sugar, or get my pump out, they are like, what is that, and doesn't it hurt. i don't mind them asking questions, as long as they keep rude comments to themselves, i have got in a huge fight with someone because they said that i "wasn't normal."  most people don't care, and my friends are really cautious of me, like in p.e. they always ask to make sure im ok if i sayi don't feel good. and that is what true friends are like. if anyone wants to e-mail me,

my e-mail is rjaluvr@hotmail.com , feel free to email me.

welcome to diabeteens i havnt been active on here but im comming back...any ways about the people calling not normal, its because your not,you have to deal with diabetes 24/7 and that makes you need to be more responsible, and because of that it will make you stronger. just dont listion to the people who call you abnormal ,just remember you arent normal, your a diabetic and because of that your stronger then you would be normaly. just because "the other kids" call you abnormal doesnt mean you have to listion, just remember your friends are the ones who care about who you are and not what you are. Have a good day.
