    hi Kristen.

    youre right he is a trooper. im 26 now and i was diagnosed when i was 5 months old. i agree with your son. the lantus burns. talk to the doctor about levamir. its a lot better.

    Hi, i was on lantus for many years and i found it stings when injected. i found using a longer needle stopped the stinging but not sure if this is a practical thing for you to try! good luck x
