Hi! Im new to this website, but I think its cool so far. Ive been diabetic for four years in july and am on the cozmo insulin pump. Hope to meet some cool people on this website that I can talk to about diabetic problems that I can't talk about with my friends. Love to read, sing (even if I sound bad) and love 3d art.

how do you like the cozmo pump, i have one too, and mine keeps breaking, i've had it for abot 6 months, and gone through 4-5 pumps allready. and i know how you feel about not being able to talk to your friends abot you diabetes, i have the same issue, they just don't understand. i know that they try to help me take care of it, but they just don't understand sometimes.
Hey Ladies!
Do your friends do or say things about your diabetes that annoy you? Or is it more just that they don't understand how much work and how major diabetes is sometimes?

p.s. To "iluvtoread"...what's the last book you read that you lovvvvvvved?
its more like that they just dont understand. they try are curius and do care, but they can't completly understand unless they have diabetes.
the latest book that i lovvved was the twilight series!!!!!!!! cannot wait for 4th book or movie!
I've never heard of the Twilight Series...I'll have to keep my eyes open for it!
You know, the thing about friends not understanding---I mean, really, how could they, you know? I have a couple friends who do have different chronic illnesses, so we definitely understand each other when it comes to having to take such careful care of our bodies every day, but even then, I don't know what it would be like to have hemophelia like my friend Steve has. He has limits in that disease that I definitely don't have in diabetes.
And then, when I think about my friends who don't have diseases, but have other challenges, like not having ever known their father or having lost their little brother to cancer, there's no way I know how that feels. I can't even imagine! So it seems like we all kind of have challenges and they're all really different, but they're still challenges, you know?
