I'm in over my head!

By Skyler, Health Guide Friday, July 25, 2008

Okay here goes. For a while now i feel as though me in control of my diabetes isn't working as well as it should be. i am not doing nearly as many finger pricks as i should be, and i forget to bolus all of the time. now i really think that it is time for me to make a change for the better and start being more responsible about my diabetes, but i just always forget. there is always something else that pushes doing a finger prick from my mind, or i have to hurry quick and help clean the table before i can bolus. and by that time i have totally forgotten.... while other times, it just doesn't cross my mind at all. now i know that taking good care of my diabetes is crucial to my health and all, but i can't help just forgetting. right? Honestly i really try to do better, but i just don't seem to have the drive to do it. could this just be a phase that will eventually resolve itself? or do i really need to get my butt in gear? or both? well advice would be great.... well anything would be extremely helpful. so thanks a bunch! =]
